Don't Accuse A Lady Of Cheating If You Won't Marry Her

Recently, I was having a discussion with a younger colleague who confided in me about some relationship issues he has been having with his girlfriend of 4 years.
They young man was of the opinion that his girlfriend has been cheating on him. According to him, she receives long and suspicious calls from 'male admirers' and this gives him worries that she could fall for any of them anytime soon. He had accosted her several times about this act and it had always ended with the response that they are 'mere admirers' and this has led to numerous quarrels between them. Some even turned physical!!!
First, I tried as much as possible to be very objective and logical. I really did not want to be biased despite the work relationship we share. As a realist, I would always state the truth even if it comes out bitter like the gall of a chicken.
From what he told me, he has been dating the girl for 4 years. I asked him if he had made any concrete plan towards tying the knot with her and his response was a negative one. After 4 years, you still dey calculate, dey estimate and approximate whether na she go be your wife or not. Ogbeni, which level you sef dey operate on? I made him to understand that problems are either caused by commission or omission. In his case, the inability or reluctance (omission) to define the relationship and attach a final destination to it through concrete visible plans is the remote cause of the problems.
Women are like flowers; they blossom today and wither away soonest when they are not plucked. You cannot date a lady for years without any concrete plans of marrying her and still turn around and accuse her of cheating on you. What would you expect her to do? If she pressures you to do the needful, you will still be the one who will quickly see her as someone trying to chain you down with marriage.
We should accept truths, no matter how painful they are. I am not in support of cheating in relationships but you do not have any right as a man, be it customary, legal or religious to demand faithfulness from a lady if you are not formally engaged to her. If the finance to coordinate a family is absent and she understands that, two of you can put heads together to see how to reach a compromise. If she is not in, then leave her and let her find her way. Don't leave her on the fence. Work harder and smarter and create a life for yourself.
Marriage is not for boys and girls. Nor be bobo and cheeseballs business. You might make her miss eligible suitors. You should not be the one to be blamed if things later go south for her.
If your inability to tie the knot stems from the fact that you are still young and want to enjoy your life, then you have no business with committed relationships. Get yourself a fvckmate on contract basis to satisfy your sexual urge. E nor dey expensive. If your inability stems from the fact that you are still watching to know whether she is the one or not after couple of years, you are not a serious fellow! Na spectator you be? Let her go. This ugly situation has made it difficult for many young ladies to meet eligible suitors. Gone are the days when people date for 7years, 8 years and 10 years. Making your girlfriend commit to only you for couple of years without her seeing any good plan of a future together with you is as bad as evil.

Israel Praises Trump For Soleimani Killing, Places Military On High Alert

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered its military on high alert as he expressed strong support for President Trump on Friday, less than a day after the U.S. killed top Iranian military general Qassem Soleimani in an airstrike at Baghdad International Airport.
Netanyahu called the U.S.’s recent attacks on Iran a “just struggle,” adding that President Trump should be praised for his actions, which likely thwarted future attacks on American citizens.

Controversial hip-hop singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 has attacked Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari in a new post for year 2020.

Recall that police alleged Naira Marley for stealing a car and the police filed four counts of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the police against him before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court at Tinubu.
The artist reacted to a trending tweet from the Late Micheal Jackson twitter account wishing everyone a Happy New year, the surprised artist decided to troll the president on the tweet by saying he was suprised a dead was sending out a new year message but in Nigeria we have a Living dead President.

Meanwhile, Newsflash247 had earlier reported that the alleged car theft case against hip-hop singer, Azeez Fashola, alias Naira Marley; his two siblings, Idris and Babatunde Fashola; and cousin, Kunle Obere, may be settled out of court.
The police filed four counts of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the police against them before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court at Tinubu.
While Idris, Babatunde and Obere have been arraigned on December 16, Naira Marley has yet to present himself in court.
At the last hearing on December 31, 2019, the magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, threatened to issue a warrant for the arrest of the singer.
But after being persuaded by Naira Marley’s lawyer, Ayodeji Awokulehin, the magistrate further adjourned the case till January 14, 2020.
In a chat with journalists outside the courtroom, Awokunlehin said his client had initiated an out-of-court settlement talk with the complainant, Mr Adelekan Ademola, who alleged that Naira Marley and others stole his Toyota Camry vehicle with Registration No. FEE 120 AA valued at N1.8m and an iPhone X5 worth N330,000.
The lawyer expressed the hope that the matter would be settled before the adjourned date.
“The police have no problem with an out-of-court settlement; we hope that an agreement will be reached before the next adjourned date,” Awokulehin said.
The police prosecutor, Edet Okoi, had told the court that the defendants committed the offence on December 15, at Eko Hotel Roundabout, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Okoi said, “One of the vehicles in the musician’s motorcade hit the complainant’s vehicle from the back while he was throwing out money from his vehicle to his fans.
“When the complainant came down from the vehicle to inspect the damage, Obere entered the complainant’s Camry and drove it off with the motorcade. Ademola reported to the police and the vehicle was tracked to where it was parked at Jakande Crescent, Oniru in Lagos.
“When the police arrived at the location in company with the complainant, Naira Marley and his boys started beating the complainant.
“A group of boys obstructed the police from arresting the musician but they were able to apprehend the three defendants.”
The prosecutor said they acted contrary to sections 112,172, 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015

A police sergeant, Lukmon Akanbi, has been arrested for shooting dead one Ramon Babatunde Adeniji, 39, around Eko Atlantic area of Victoria Island, Lagos. Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, ordered his arrest. The incident happened on Friday at about 04:20am around Eko Atlantic Victoria Island, Lagos. According to Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, there was a fracas between the Police Officer who was on patrol at the area and the victim who was returning from an event. “The police officer was said to have pulled the trigger of his pistol on the unarmed civilian, which falls short of professional standards on the use of firearms. . The victim was rushed to Naval Dockyard Hospital and was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. The Police Sergeant was arrested and detained at the Provost Department, Command Headquarters, Ikeja. . He was subjected to internal disciplinary proceedings known as Orderly Room Trials and was found guilty of all the charges. He was subsequently awarded punishment of dismissal from the Nigeria Police. . He is handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for prosecution in conventional Court.
